Crafted as a hollowbody electric-acoustic guitar, the T5z merges two worlds of tone into a single package. Three pickups give the T5z a wide range of tonal possibilities: a magnetic acoustic body sensor, a concealed neck humbucker and a visible bridge humbucker, controlled with five-way switching that enables everything from searing, high-gain electric leads and warm, rounded acoustic textures. Fresh design enhancements include a lightweight Urban Ash body, rounded body edges, an integral armrest that takes the edge off the upper bout for a more relaxed feel, and relocated volume and tone knobs that make it easier to adjust your tone on the fly. The T5z is dually compatible with electric and acoustic amplifiers, opening a wide world of musical possibilities.

The Taylor T5z Pro features a whole new generation of electronics. A 5-way selector offers a wide spread of possible combinations for full electric, full acoustic, or hybrid tones with additional onboard tone-tweaking controls for volume, bass, and treble.

The T5z Pro’scomfortable hollowbody draws inspiration from Taylor’s supremely comfortable Grand Auditorium acoustic guitar shape, with similar dimensions but significantly reduced depth. These carefully crafted proportions yield a resonant hollowbody guitar that feels more like a conventional solidbody electric. Stylish but functional F-holes enhance the resonance of the body chamber, allowing the top to breathe and capture the dynamics of your performances.
