The Gretsch G6636T is loaded with a pair of High-Sensitive Filter'Tron pickups that serve up legendary Gretsch bark and bite with extra clarity. Some players prefer them for jazz, classic rock, and any jangly guitar parts. Each pickup gets its own volume control with tone-shaping provided by a master tone control.
The guitar features a maple neck that’s carved in Gretsch's Standard “U” shape. It sits deep in your palm and invites players to throw their thumb over the top for some old-fashioned rocking. The guitar offers maxiumum playability due to its silky-smooth ebony fingerboard and 22 medium jumbo frets.
The G6636T comes with a Bigsby B7CP tailpiece with a string-thru design. To string up, all you have to do is pass the string through the bridge and pull it up to the tuner.
