Guitar Nine's Attic: G9 ESP Echelon

Guitar Nine
General , G9 Attic

echelon /ˈeSHəˌlän/ a formation of troops, ships, aircraft, or vehicles in parallel rows: two planes, lying in echelon with one another.

A look at the Guitar Nine organization's band of ESP-built guitars, amassed from 1980 through 2024. ESP Guitars, originally named Electric Sound Products, began in 1975 as a shop in Tokyo specializing in custom guitar parts and repair services. They soon expanded into building complete guitars. ESP's focus on high-quality components and custom work led to the development of signature series guitars for many notable musicians. It's been called the "ESP extraordinary 9", but that's a somewhat chucklesome way of saying ESP guitars are played by superior musicians such as George Lynch, Kirk Hammett, James Hetfield and Alexi Laiho.
