Michael Harris' new vocal CD, Words Collide, yields over a full hour of music, with Michael's first recorded lead vocals ever, amazing drumwork from his brother Brian, and an impressive display of compelling lyrics, ranging in subject matter from discovery ("Wash My Soul Away"); two faced people ("Mask of Deception"); drug abuse ("Tears Roll Down"); depression ("Incarcerated") to the title track's theme of the power of the spoken word, and even a stunning, 10 minute "microsc-opera" about a war veteran who, after a twisted chain of events, finally finds inner peace, entitled "Battle Fatigue". Michael's trademark guitar riffs are all over this metallic work, with ripping solos the order of the day.
