The Blue Hand is acoustic guitarist Dan Lambert's 2001 release, a collection of tunes all written within the last couple of years and recorded in the winter of 2001. Lambert plays the pieces on two guitars - a rebuilt 1952 000-28 Martin (rescued from kindling) and a 00 size Gibson from the 1930s. The listener will delight in the way that Lambert combines his varied influences - complex rhythms, rock licks, bluesy riffs, and fiery fretwork - all are brought together to make each composition distinctive and memorable. The Blue Hand - solo fingerstyle guitar pieces played with passion and technical mastery.
