Unsung Heroes
The Story
One of the most outstanding of all the Dregs' releases, "Unsung Heroes" was voted best guitar album of 1981 by the readers of Guitar Player magazine. Each track, from "Cruise Control" through "Go For Baroque" either features a fiery, rock-inspired Morse guitar solo, or a quietly stunning Morse guitar solo, or both. The musicianship of drummer Rod Morgenstein, violinist Allen Sloan, bassist Andy West and keyboardist T Lavitz is the added icing on the cake, as each band member has numerous spotlight and solo passages to deliver incredible Dregs music. All instrumental and pure dynamite. Overpriced Japanese import version.
