Kostas Ladopoulos

Rocker Seeks Record Label

Kostas Ladopoulos is a Greek born guitarist who has released Enter Outside, a five song, EP-length CD of his self-described experimental instrumental rock. While not avant-garde, tracks such as the title track blend a number of genres inside of the same tune, which may be the experimentation Ladopoulos is referring to. Featuring lengthy improvisational solo sections, his music is designed for people looking for something different and familiar at the same time. "Trembling Stars" has some bizarre, guitar-created caterwaul at the end, while "Desert Moon" is a delay-soaked, backwards guitar interlude. The exoticness of "Desert Sun" makes it probably one of the most interesting tracks on the album.

alb Kostas was born in Athens, Greece in 1979, and is currently working in the professional music studio Larione10 in Florence, Italy. He had previously been playing with local bands in Greece for about 10 years, before relocating to Italy two years ago. Kostas never took any formal lessons but studied method books thoroughly. The guitarist that originally made guitar his favorite instrument was Angus Young and Metallica. The player that totally changed his view of music and guitar composition was John Petrucci. Right now his favorite guitarists are Petrucci, Ron Jarzombek, Steve Vai, Alex Skolnick (his latest fusion works),Tony MacAlpine, Frank Gambale and Scott Henderson. Kostas also has great admiration for drummer and composer Virgil Donatti.

Ladopoulos is in search of a music label that will be able to help him produce his music, collaborate with other musicians and distribute his work. He has already begun writing new material and will hopefully be lining up some great guest musicians for the project.

Eric Serrano

Looking For A Career In Music

His objectives are straightforward, "To join or form a super rock group, tour the world, record and sell tons of albums, and have a life-long career in music as a musician." To this end, Puerto Rico's Eric Serrano grabbed a bass, a drum machine, and his guitar and recorded his sixteen-song demo CD-R. The music was recorded between 2002 and 2005 and showcases Serrano's agility on the guitar and his mind blowing, bombastic solo spots, while raiding the instrumental rock riff archive with enthusiasm and discretion. Tracks such as "High Octane" and "Lethal Kiss" will attract the Satriani/Vai crowd, while "Rocka Rolla" and "Nostalgia" are earlier demo tracks that show where Serrano was several years ago, and laid a foundation for future compositions.

pic Eric was born in 1976, and since the age of six has taken a serious interest in music. He began composing and recording his own music at the age of twelve with a karaoke machine and his guitar. At age nineteen, he was writing complete songs and recording them on a 4-track tape recorder. During college (1995-2000) Eric was playing in two local bands and working on demos, playing all the instruments and doing all the recording. He completed several demo records in 2003, and since that time has decided to live for music, planning to study both recording engineering and music. Eric will do whatever it will take to further his education and have fun making music.

Serrano has been influenced by dozens of musicians and bands over the years, including Menudo, the Monkees, Ritchie Valens, Chuck Berry, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Whitesnake, Motley Crue, Black Sabbath, Guns 'N Roses, the Black Crowes, Poison, Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax, Sonic Youth, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, Soundgarden, Rush, Yes, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Dream Theater.
