The Endless Jam
The Story
A Summit is a melding of musical super powers - in this case, German mad axeman Michael Schenker and vocalist Davey Pattison. On drums, Schenker/Pattison enlisted help from one of rock's most well known drummers, Aynsley Dunbar (UFO, Journey, Starship, Whitesnake) before rounding out the line-up with power bassist Gunter Nezhoda (Pat Travers, Leslie West). Aptly titled "The Endless Jam", this CD contains extended versions of classic Gamma, Trower, Montrose, Traffic and Free songs (and others) which showcase Schenker and Pattison at the top of their game. If you've always wondered what an extended, blistering solo would sound like on "A Whiter Shade Of Pale", if you've wondered what Schenker and Leslie West would sound like trading solos ("Never In My Life"), or if you want to experience the bluesiest Schenker yet recorded - "The Endless Jam" is your disc.
