Guitar Nine's Attic: G9 Foot-Sized Force

Guitar Nine
General , G9 Attic

force | fôrs | troops and weaponry.

A look at the Guitar Nine organization's buildup of foot-sized pedals amassed from 1980 through 2025. It's been called the "Foot-Sized Fantastic 9", but that's a somewhat elevated and terse way of saying foot-sized wahs accent your guitar tone in the way that we pronounce the “a” vowel, caused when you sweep the pedal from its heel-down position up to full. Some compare a wah to an animated, crying human voice, especially when used with overdrive and distortion effects. Whereas, a foot-sized monster like the DigiTech EX-7 is a pedal that lets you metatarsally modulate a virtual pedal board of classic expression pedals - from Wah and Whammy to rare, sought-after pedals like the A/DA Flanger and DigiTech's own highly collectable Space Station Synth Swell.
