My home studio is set up for producing the sort of music I do -- ethereal, ambient noir, electronic. I get really good sound quality but I don't have the equipment (or the know-how) to record more than 2 mono inputs or 1 stereo pair at once. Lots of MIDI, lots of sampling, lots of effects, vocals, etc.
