UFO
You Are Here
The Story
UFO's follow up to 2002's "Sharks" features the amazing Vinnie Moore on lead guitar, and another musician with a pedigree, none other than Jason Bonham on drums. Keyboard player Paul Raymond is also back, joining the nucleus of vocalist Phil Mogg and bassist Pete Way. "You Are Here" will place you right back in a late '70s/early '80s hard rock state of mind, as Mogg's vocals have never been stronger, and Moore contributes with speed, groove and astonishing chops. If you've always grooved to UFO in the past, this line up will at once seem familiar and fresh. Keith "Muzikman" Hannaleck at ProgressiveWorld.net was high on the CD, "This was a welcome addition to my rock collection. Phil Mogg is one of the unique voices in rock music and his pipes don't sound rusty at all. I think the younger guys in the group gave him the kick in the pants he needed to pull off such a great performance. This is a solid album well worth checking out for old and young rockers alike."
