The Story
2002 Juno Award Winner for Best Instrumental Album ("Armando's Fire"), guitarist Oscar Lopez' first album for Narada is entitled "Heat". His Juno-nominated "Dancing On The Moon Contigo" earned wide acclaim and a buzz throughout North America. Now comes an album of excitement, passion, energy - "Heat"! "It's all from the heart, no matter what I play. Everything is in the heat of the moment,"states Lopez. "I am completely devoted to my guitar - she has been my lady for a long time." Fellow musician Martin Simpson once said, "Oscar Lopez is the only guitarist I know who can actually make an acoustic nylon-string guitar scream."
