Creedence-influenced Songwriter Makes Mark

Lone Wolf James is currently busy promoting his CD of original acoustic rock, entitled Prey. Channeling a perfectionist's nature into his music, the songs on the CD are unique - each one of the six tracks having a different sound than the others. To say Lone Wolf James is multi-talented is an understatement; the musician plays guitars and drums (drums are his first instrument) and handles lead vocals (his true talent) as well. Listening to the acoustic work on the recording, one would not guess Wolf has only spent five years on his six-string skills (he is joined on the CD by guitarists Paul Ortolano and B. Fernald). Additionally the songwriting is highly effective and infectious - overall, Prey is a solid EP-length debut offering from an up-and-coming performer.

Lone Wolf James has been a musician for over 15 years. He began his career as a drummer before discovering that singing would help him achieve his musical goals. He took vocal training under nationally known vocal teacher Mark Baxter, then five years ago, taught himself to play guitar. Lone Wolf James' influences range from John Fogerty to country/folk singer John Denver to blue collar rocker John Mellencamp. His dream is to one day share a stage with John Fogerty.

Currently Lone Wolf James is performing all over New England and is auditioning new members for his backup band His music can be heard on WHEB 100.3 as well as various college stations.
