Satriani's voice isn't the highlight of the CD, but it fits relatively well with his music, especially on the acoustic-flavored, uplifting "I Believe". "Flying In A Blue Dream" contains numerous examples of Satriani's signature playing style and the amazing variety of effects and tricks he coaxes out of his guitar. Wild riffs, soaring solos, great music -- an instrumental triumph.
