Shredding Hard Rocker Releases EP/CD

Caught In The Act is the first CD release by Virginia hard rock/shred guitarist J.D. Bradshaw, an EP-length CD of four songs (three instrumental, one vocal tune). Bradshaw relys on a heavy metal backdrop for two of the instrumental compositions on Caught In The Act, playing blazingly fast, full-throttle guitar solos over dense, distorted rhythm tracks. "All The Way", the vocal number, features a more song-oriented groove, then Bradshaw explodes with a melodic solo underneath the metal mayhem. On the instrumental tracks, melody and motif take a back seat to speed and free-wheeling improvisations. The final track, "Blue 135", dispenses with the rock hard backing in favor of a blues-based groove and wah-wah flavored shred.

With more thatn fifteen years experience in performing, touring and recording, J.D. has blended together rock, blues and light jazz to form his style of guitar playing. J.D. describes himself as an easy going, creative and versatile musician with a good sense of humor. The idea to record Caught In the Act was inspired by the recordings of Ace Frehley, Vinnie Moore, Yngwie Malmsteen and Joe Satriani. The CD captures J.D. as a performer, songwriter and producer.

Bradshaw continues to seek distribution, label interest and radio play for Caught In the Act.
