The Story
"Collection: The Shrapnel Years" contains rock/fusion guitarist Greg Howe's best instrumental musical moments and is comprised of aggressive rock and fusion compositions which highlight Greg's incredible technique, memorable melodies and complex songwriting. These tracks contain standout performances by some of the greatest musicians in progressive music, including drummers Dennis Chambers and Atma Anur and bassists Billy Sheehan and Victor Wooten, among others. This compilation's focus is Howe's highly technical, yet very melodic, guitar style that has established him as one of the most innovative guitar instrumentalists of our time and a true guitarist's guitarist. This enhanced CD contains a vintage live video of Greg Howe, as well as a mini-guitar lesson and tablature.
