Midnight In Madrid
The Story
As the sun dips beneath the horizon, a fair Velazquez sky melts to a deep azure. Sun-drenched stone buildings still radiate the heat of the day. Night quiets the world around it, but the city awakens - people slowly begin to fill narrow streets and alleys, street musicians are at every corner. There is a sense of anticipation, a mounting excitement as night casts its spell. Heard from the Puerto del Sol to hidden-away grottos, flamenco guitarists and dancers gather to play and move to the rhythms until the sun re-appears. This is the music of the soul, the music of "Midnight In Madrid". Spain's Chuscales is a guitarist's guitarist whose consummate skill and deep understanding of flamenco has made him one of the greatest performers and teachers of nuevo flamenco.
