Headin' Out is the much-anticipated follow-up album to their first, and very successful "Jetty Subject To High Surf" CD from the Vara-Tones. This new album was designed to please the novice surf music enthusiast as well as the more experienced surf music aficionados. The seventeen new recordings on this CD includes seven cover tunes from the original first wave of surf music, as well as ten new Bill Epps (guitar) original instrumentals, all high energy and totally authentic, as would be expected from these four veterans of the original surf music scene of the early sixties.
