Brown Bag is the sequel to "Lapse", the acclaimed debut by Maine-based guitarist/composer Scott Hughes. His latest CD crosses rock and jazz boundaries at will, displaying his technical command of the guitar while staking out his own, unique harmonic territory. Brown Bag features some guest guitar solos from California guitarist Neal Nagaoka on "Swagger", but aside from that, it's one-hundred percent Hughes. Check out the heavy "Prelude", the shining and powerful title track and Hughes trademark 'angularity' on "#3 No Fiesta".
