An intense Latin jazz fusion with a sizzling groove stokes Oscar Lopez' irresistible guitar technique. Armando's Fire is an album inspired by the guitarist's inner voice. "My music is an extension of my soul and life experiences," he explains. "And my albums are the product of this internal and external collaboration." Armando's Fire captures the passion, gentleness and fire within Lopez' soul and lets it loose through his fingertips. The CD won the 2002 Juno Award Winner for Best Instrumental Album, and was the 2002 SOCAN Hagood Hardy Jazz/Instrumental Award Winner.
