In the same spirit of his 2002 solo jazz guitar album "All Of Me" comes In My Life, Virginia area guitarist Michael Fath's all-instrumental blend of jazz classics, rock/pop covers and original tracks ("Jennifer", "Country Fantasy", "Hidden Horse Blues/You Bette"). You'll be treated to Fath's arrangements of tunes by jazz composers and artists such as Charlie Parker ("Yardbird Suite"), Miles Davis ("Freddie The Freeloader"), Billie Holiday ("God Bless The Child"), Erroll Garner ("Misty"), Duke Ellington ("Satin Doll"), and Ray Henderson ("Bye, Bye Blackbird"), as well as Fath's treatment of Jimi Hendrix' "The Wind Cries Mary" and the classic Lennon/McCartney title track. If you don't live in the Washington DC area, or can't catch Fath perform live at a national music festival, track down a copy of In My Life and set yourself up for your own private concert.
