Collection Volume 2 is the follow up compilation to "Collection", this time featuring 11 songs recorded and released by guitarist Larry Carlton between 1987 and 1996. Collection Volume 2 offers numbers from Carlton albums such as "The Gift", "Kid Gloves", "Discovery", "On Solid Ground", "Alone/But Never Alone", and "Larry & Lee" (which feature guitarist Lee Ritenour). Collection Volume 2 offers more examples of Carlton's unique style, which has long been distinguished by a supple lyricism and deep expressiveness that is nothing if not poetic.
