Collection offers much to savor, from lilting acoustic ballads ("Smiles And Smiles To Go") and bluesy shuffles ("Bubble Shuffle"), to dreamy soundscapes (the haunting version of Santo and Johnny's 1959 hit, "Sleepwalk") and biting improvisations ("Nite Crawler"). Collection offers numerous examples of Carlton's unique style, which has long been distinguished by a supple lyricism and deep expressiveness that is nothing if not poetic.
