Composing songs inspired by American jazz and Brazilian music, Hatfield skillfully combines both influences, and along with a stellar supporting cast (including Hans Glawischnig on double-bass and Maucha Adnet, who provides vocal coloration on two tracks) has made a recording which certainly makes for extraordinary listening.
