Jill Yan, a Swiss guitarist, fuses hard rock, fusion, heavy metal and more in his 2006 release, entitled B4. Treading in some of the same territory as some of the latest output from Chris Poland, but with a harder edge, Yan spreads instrumental bliss through ten tracks that absolutely cook. A graduate of the Musician's Institute in California, Yan takes his refined technique to a different level, creating a perfect compliment to his previous release "Guitar Garbage 1.2". A veteran of bands such as The Park, Horny Spirits, Time Code and Century City, Yan introduces the world to his new bass player on B4, one Ivan De Luca, who plays in a band called Sueno. Drummer Franz Hirt is equally adept at rock, jazz, funk and fusion, the ideal musician to contribute to B4.
