Chrome Play features positive melodic guitar instrumentals from guitarist Doug Markley and his band, done up in the funky smooth jazz style he has become known for. Markley attended the University of Miami's School of Music for four years., and has played guitar in the Philadelphia area for 20 years. He has also has had his music played on The Weather Channel for the past five years. He spotlights a number of popular videos of his music on YouTube. Also featured on Chrome Play are Bill Butryn on sax and Ted Baker on keyboards. Baker has previously recorded and toured with Steely Dan.
