Curtis

Curtis is the self-titled rock instrumental CD by a California guitarist who favors a song-oriented compositional style and a multitude of guitar sounds. Curtis, which features two vocal numbers and thirteen (count 'em) instrumental tracks, also showcases the guitarist's solo style, which ranges from smooth, liquid runs and greasy, overdriven wah-wah tones to clean, shimmering lead breaks and reverb-drenched textures. Each piece on the CD is distinct in mood and arrangement from every other, so guitar fans seeking a variety of approaches won't be disappointed. Half the artist profits from the sale of Curtis will be donated to cancer related charities.
