The Story
Gotcha! If you thought a CD entitled "Voice" would be chock-full-o-vocals, you'd be dead wrong. On this all-instrumental release of cover tunes, Neal Schon uses his overdriven electric guitar as the voice, get it? Heavily influenced by the voice and style of Aretha Franklin when he was learning to play guitar, Neal states, "I have always been inspired by guitarists, but it has also always been singers that have helped me learn to play." Following up his first two Higher Octave releases ("Beyond The Thunder" and "Electric World") with "Voice", Schon continues his incredible solo journey of self-realization and exposition via the universal medium, the undeniable rhythm of life: Music.
