New Columns

April features excellent contributions by a number guest columnists, who cover technique, studio recording and the music business. We've got eleven new articles altogether - nine returning columnists and two first timers. First off is Mike Campese, G.I.T. graduate and instructor, with "The Mixo Cool-Blues Scale". Guitarist Will Landrum returns with his column, "Creative Intervals". Canadian guitarist David Martone is back with another article entitled "Zone Recording: Drumagog". Neo-classical guitarist Tom Hess contributes his piece called "Fire And Inspiration". Danny Jones continues his technique series with "Shredding Blues Licks: Wide Intervals". Indie marketing and promotions expert Tim Sweeney has contributed an article entitled "Motivation" Guitarist and writer Jamie Andreas also returns with her article "What Should I Practice?". Canadian guitarist Jason Sadites is back with "Concepts To Improve Your Solos". First time contributors include band coach Sean Farrington with "S5 Paths To $100,000 Per Year - Part 1: Gidget's Way" and guitarist Alan Williamson with "Chromatic Stupidity". Finally, music industry guru Christopher Knab returns with "Deals That Await Successful Independent Music Labels".
