New Columns

A super group of diverse guest columns has been assembled for April. We've got twelve altogether - with eight returning columnists and four first-time columnists. First off is Mike Campese, G.I.T. graduate and instructor, with "Picking Techniques From "The New"". Guitarist and instructor Jeff Lawrence is here for the first time with his contribution, "Learn Your Fretboard!". Berklee College of Music instructor Scott Tarulli returns with his column, "Influence Vs. Imitation". Canadian guitarist David Martone is back with another article entitled "Zone Recording: The Ultimate Challenge". Hess guitarist Mike Walsh has written "How To Improve Your Songwriting For $100". Joining us for the first time is guitar player and songwriter David LaMotte with "Sacrifices of the Solo Singer Songwriter". John Drew is also a first-time columnist on the site with his article, "Riding The Music Business Roller Coaster". Guitarist Tony Koretz is back with another column, "The Acoustic Guitar In The Mix, Part 1". Indie marketing and promotions expert Tim Sweeney has contributed an article entitled "Are You In Control?". We welcome author, music reviewer and guitarist A-J Charron with his first column for Guitar Nine, entitled "So You Want To Be A Songwriter?". Guitarist and writer Jamie Andreas also returns with his article "Teacher's Lounge: You Treat A Thing The Way You Define It". Finally, music industry guru Christopher Knab returns with "How To Write An Artist Biography: A Bio Made Simple".
