Gilrock Ranch
The Story
"Gilrock Ranch" features Night Ranger's Brad Gillis ripping through eight instrumental guitar cuts, many co-written with keyboardist Derek Sherinian. The two vocal numbers feature guest Gregg Allman on lead throat (note: it you have to have vocals on an instrumental CD, get Gregg Allman!) On "Gilrock Ranch", Gillis used his favorite 1962 red Fender Stratocaster, his black 1967 Les Paul Custom, his red BG Model Hamer Stratocaster and his Hamer red double-neck guitar on all tracks. Each tune features ripping guitar and Gillis' singing, vibrato bar leads -- a classic reissue from Koch Records.
