The Story
"Collection Volume 2" is the follow up compilation to "Collection", this time featuring 11 songs recorded and released by guitarist Larry Carlton between 1987 and 1996. "Collection Volume 2" offers numbers from Carlton albums such as "The Gift", "Kid Gloves", "Discovery", "On Solid Ground", "Alone/But Never Alone", and "Larry & Lee" (which feature guitarist Lee Ritenour). "Collection Volume 2" offers more examples of Carlton's unique style, which has long been distinguished by a supple lyricism and deep expressiveness that is nothing if not poetic.
