Yngwie J. Malmsteen's The Seventh Sign featured the guitar hero recording for an independent label, CMC International (later relreased on Spitfire Records). The Seventh Sign includes photos of Yngwie's swimming pool and car, as well as some exciting instrumental tracks, "Brothers" and "Sorrow". Michael Vescera handles vocals this time, while Yngwie adds to the low end on electric and fretless bass. In general, you'll find the guitar solos are shorter, feature a monster tone, and are a bit more focused which adds to the differentiation between The Seventh Sign and his previous works. Also, "Pyramid Of Cheops" features the guitarist laying down sitar stylings as well as some dropped tunings for additional heaviness and grunge.
