Produced by Alex Perialas (Anthrax, Testament, Metallica), Without Warning's Believe charted in both Japan and Europe when it was first released in 1995. Led by principal songwriters Ted Burger (guitar) and Jack Bielata (vocals), Without Warning delivers heavy music with an aggressive drive in the vein of Dream Theater and Queensryche, with Bielata singing in hard rock style that occassionally sounds almost operatic. On Believe, the band combines superb keyboards and outstanding guitars, along with a powerful rhythm unit. Interestingly, Burger was voted one of the top 5 guitar players in Japan by the MVP Readers Poll.
