V.I.H. II

V.I.H. II is the second release from "that little ol' blues band from the Blue(s) Mountains of Pennsylvania", formerly known as V.I.H., now known as the Victory In Heaven Blues Band. Members of the band include Larry Baudoin (drums and backing vocals), Frank Ciambra (bass ) and Sterling Koch (guitar and vocals ). Here, the CD opens with a cover of Mancini's instrumental classic "Theme From Peter Gunn" and folows with originals such as "Wrong Side Of The Blues", "Nothin' But The Blues" and "Take A Hand". Exciting covers include Willie Dixon's "You Can't Judge A Book By The Cover" and Jimmy Morello's "Bluesman For Life". Solos and deep blues riffs abound, as you might expect - guitarist Sterling Koch has been the subject of feature articles in both Guitar Player and Guitar World magazines.
