Superkiller

Leon Tsilis at Skymarshall Productions writes, "For 9 seasons, FBI agents Scully & Mulder searched the world for the truth on The X-Files. What these agents overlooked in their quest for "The Truth" was a visit to Chicago and meeting up with Jimmy Ryan, Bill Kopecky and Johnny Mrozek - Truth Squad. All their questions, musically anyway, would have been answered upon inserting this Superkiller album into any available CD player. For the truth here is that real creative music is still alive and kicking and being performed by musicians who have spent years honing their craft. It's time for the truth and Truth Squad delivers on all counts. Superkiller is a musical journey of hard rockin', soulful, melodic, cutting edge rock & roll not heard since the likes of Wishbone Ash first sprang upon the scene." Crashing chords, bass solos, frenetic tapping, searing heavy riffs, and hot-wired leads mark this hard rock freak-out - clearly Ryan, Kopecky and Mrozek are aiming to put the passion, fire and soul back into a style of music that can't grab the guitar mags narrowly-focused attention spans these days.
