Caifornia guitarist Tom Chaffee's self-titled debut CD with The Saturnalia features contemporary rock, blues, jazz, and R&B, influenced by players such as Jimmy Page, Eric Johnson, and John McLaughin as well as bands such as Jethro Tull. S/T was co-produced and mixed by the Emmy Award winning sound mixer, Joel
Fein, of SONY Pictures Studios. The song that started it all for Chaffee is "Lighthouse", a smoldering bluesy rock song with some jazzy chords featuring a wah-wah pedalled lead guitar solo during verses and a balls-out rock guitar lead during the big power bridge, with a Trower Hendrix Zeppelin-ish groove and the aching of a lonely and searching heart. Come and hang with Tom Chaffee as he splits tone allegiance between Stevie Ray Vaughan's straightforward approach and Santana's more atmospheric style.
