Freeride, the first solo disc from outstanding Swedish guitar virtuoso Thomas Larsson, is a landmark heavy guitar statement that digs deep into a bluesy '70s vibe with a modern approach rich with inspiration and influence. Freeride features 11 tracks of outstanding, blistering, intense, top-shelf retro-'70s heavy guitar rock of the highest order that ranges from hard-assed grooved-out bluesy heavy riffage to classic mid-tempo bluesy heavy rock swagger to clean beautiful melodic ballads. Including four incredible instrumental guitar tracks which showcase Larsson's vast talents on the guitar, Freeride is a well-rounded diverse musical trip of "pure heavy guitar beauty" which features a little something for everybody; highly recommended for people who dig REAL guitar music of the highest order. And as an added bonus, Swedish blues/rock guitar legend Clas Yngstrom (Sky High) shows up for some incredible dual heavy guitar interplay with brother Thomas on the ripping "Bad Sign" jam.
