Big Dumb Rock is the new instrumental rock album from the Taz Taylor Band. Taz Taylor burst onto the scene with 2004's "Caffeine Racer" album. A complete unknown prior to that album, Taz quickly got the attention of the online music media for his ability to write and perform instrumental rock which appeals to a wide variety of music fans and diminishes the myth that you have to be a musician to enjoy purely instrumental music. Since then Taz Taylor Band have recorded and toured with legendary vocalist Graham Bonnet and ex-MSG vocalist Keith Slack and keyboard legend Don Airey. Big Dumb Rock is a return to Taz' first love- instrumental hard rock. Again aimed squarely at people who just love big guitar riffs, solos, big drums etc. This album showcases Taz' expressive melodic lead guitar style which is often compared to that of Michael Schenker at his best. An album recorded as Taz says, " Simply for the joy, the artistry and above all the fun of playing music."
