It invites you on a journey to a musical world full of feeling and power. Electric Storm offers enough distorted guitars, whammy bar tricks, tempo changes and technical wizardry to satisfy the most discriminating heavy guitar fan. Songs such as "Old Salt" have a real Eastern feel to them, with bends reaching those sonic areas you might expect a koto to hit, while cuts such as "Yellowfant" are reminiscent of some of Jason Becker's solo work - heavy numbers with a neo-classical sound and a taste of Asian.
