On Steve Fister's sophomore release, Age Of Great Dreams, the guitarist/composer has woven a formidable sonic tapestry utilizing strong rock, R&B and jazz elements, along with a diverse palette of guitar tones. Fister states, "Melody and song content is priority one, but at all times I try to keep the drama and excitement levels high." Fister is joined on Age Of Great Dreams by core rhythm sections consisting of Stu Hamm on bass (Joe Satriani, Steve Vai) and Tommy Aldridge (Ozzy Osbourne, Whitesnake) on drums, Michael Cartalone (Damn Yankees, Lynyrd Skynyrd) on drums and Jerry Watts (Andy Summers, Simon Phillips) on bass. Fister has forged a solo style uniquely his own. Emotionally charged, high tech guitar playing, driving rhythms and atmospheric melodic themes are all propelled by state of the art drumming.
