After being featured in Guitar Player, Guitar World, Guitar (FPM) and Guitar 2001 magazines as an electric guitarist, Sterling Koch switched to acoustic guitar in 1998 and recorded In The Spirit, a twelve song statement emphasizing his new direction. Most of the tunes are Koch originals, but included are a few cover songs, among them, Greg Lake's "From The Beginning" and Kenny G.'s "Loving You". You'll find a number of styles represented throughout In The Spirit including pop, new age, jazz and folk. If you are in search of relaxing inspiration, Sterling Koch's guitar work will fit the bill perfectly.
