The Italian group Spaces' self-titled, all instrumental debut CD is a wonderful project for the new frontiers of instrumental rock fusion, and is a genuinely fantastic mix of rock, popular music and contemporary jazz. The incredible Italian virtuoso guitarist Marco Iacobini joins forces with the terrifying drummer Lorenzo Gentile and the great bassist Alfredo Paixao - making this an unbelievable music experience. Guitarist Iacobini has played with such stars as Corona, Tony Scott, Bob Berg, Antonello Salis, Scialpi and R'evo, and his playing has been described as "a cross between Steve Lukather and Steve Vai" but with his own unmistakable style.
