Pulse is guitarist Scott Bradoka's third instrumental solo album, and this time he joins forces with Los Angeles guitarist Richard Smith and keyboardist Tim Redfield. Smith and Redfield co-produced and co-engineered Pulse and have several songwriting credits, while Smith contributed guitar tracks and Redfield played keyboards. The music flows effortlessly, as Bradoka uses jazz and blues licks to augment the memorable melodic themes that dominate the disc - check out "Killer Jones", "Snake Eyes" and "Scandaloso" for some smooth fusion that documents Bradoka's growth as a musician.
