Killdozer

Robert Sabin
Sold through Guitar Nine thru 2012

Bassist Robert Sabin has released Killdozer, an avant garde jazz epic concept album tracking one man's desperate descent into machine building and town destroying mayhem, told through contemporary chromatic and free rhythmic associations. Loosely based on a deranged man's evil plan to build a town ravaging instrument of destruction in the form of a heavily armored and amunized bulldozer, Robert Sabin's first recording for Ranula Music presents a torrent of vulgar, howling mad, and sensitively reflective instrumental jazz, handcrafted for the enthusiastic audio ghoul. Killdozer features the guitar work of Mark Stanley. John Wriggle of WKCR-FM in New York states, "Sabin's debut CD reflects a fiercely focused intensity. Performing with a joyous "you'll never take me alive" attitude, this band emerges on top."
