El Musico

On El Musico, Quarteto Nuevo combine the rhythmic traditions and sophistication of the Near, Middle and Far East with the harmonic richness of the West, with lyrical melodies from bother ro make a truly unique music. The group, which features Ken Rosser on guitar, Al Garcia on bass, Christopher Garcia and Randy Gloss on percussion, and Alan Lechusza on oboe and saxophone, is fluid with diverse forms and substance from various traditions - yet not bound by any. Their compositions and improvisations feature superimposed metric modulations, electric sitar solos, bass solos and any number of percussion solos to stimulate the listener and awaken that which is already within.
