Swedish guitarist Pontus AF Klinteberg's debut, a ten track self-titled release, features clean electric and acoustic-flavored original compositions crossing rock, blues, new age and melodic solo guitar genres. Most tracks feature him playing solo guitar, although many times he has double tracked, with rhythm guitar and lead/solo guitar arrangements. The lead track, "Sheik Territory", features the percussion work of producer/engineer Christofer Stannow, but the lion`s share of the CD is all guitar -- crisp, well-executed, evocative and cinematically structured. You can close your eyes and image being in Sweden, as you let his guitar tell the whole story.
