Indiana guitarist Patrick Woods' 2009 CD, Vortex Of Discovery, showcases his fingerstyle guitar instrumentals, and builds upon the path laid out by his album "Power Fields". Based out of Winona Lake, Indiana, he has played to all types of audiences, from ages 5 to senior citizens. Woods has also opened for national and regional acts such as Guy Davis, Katie Reider, and Michael Kelsey, to name a few. He also enjoys sharing the stage with national award-winning guitarists like Jason Dennie, Brian Henke, and other icons such as Jim Volk, Eric Loy, Bill Dutcher, and Paul Brown. On Vortex Of Discovery, Patrick has once again teamed with producer Jay Bentoff, and delivers songs inspired by storms, Niagra Falls tightrope walkers, European castles, nature and sailing with pirates.
