The Search For Esoterica

The Search For Esoterica is the five song EP-length CD from Los Angeles based One Tribe, featuring Michael Sanders on guitar and Todd MacDonald on drums. The CD blends hard funk and rock melodies with Afro-Cuban as well as traditional tribal rhythms creating a unique, high-octane, dance beat-driven progressive groove. The combination of emotional intensity, catchy riffs, and overall good songwriting is what makes this band stand out. The five piece group, which also includes William Burgomaster on vocals, T.J. Armstrong on bass and Scotty Blaze on percussion, is led by Sanders, the group's lead songwriter, who incorporates his vision and concept in the music and band's direction. The tension and synergy among these musicians, combined with their indisputable artistry, fill The Search For Esoterica with passion, groove and sensuality. Check it out.
