Adventure In Country Swing

Adventure In Country Swing teams former Ventures` lead guitarist Nokie Edwards with pioneers of Western Swing, The Light Crust Doughboys and former Rick Nelson and Buck Owens steel guitarist Tom Brumley. The meeting is an aural feast of traditional country and folk sounds by some of the finest instrumentalists to ever pick guitars and banjos. About the CD, Make Mine Swing magazine stated, ". . .a hauntingly beautiful, back-to-basics primer on how electric guitar, acoustic electric guitar, and steel guitar should be played," while The Sunbonnet Reporter enthused, "...an essential recording for students of guitar and traditional country music." Adventure In Country Swing is a fine recording in the Americana and roots music tradition - a country instrumental album brave in its simplicity and bold in its style and tone.
